Quintessential Ealing comedy from 1953, as a group of villagers band together to take over the running of their local railway line, which is under threat of closure from Dr Beeching.
This is an original UK (country of origin) poster from the film’s first release, in the rarer Half Sheet format. (Its printers were Graphic Reproductions Ltd, one of the local printing companies used by GFD, the distributors of many Ealing comedies. Their name appears at the foot of the poster, as was common with British posters produced by British printers including them, W E Berry, Stafford & Co and others).
