Jerry Lewis is an acquired taste, love him or hate him, and always said to be most appreciated in France.

This is probably the most accessible of his 1960s comedies, because he’s playing more or less straight in the movie adaptation of a big stage hit, still revived to this day.

So it’s not really a Jerry Lewis film, but is a pretty funny farce, with Tony Curtis co-starring, and the great Thelma Ritter in support, as well as all the air hostesses….
