1941

in 1979 Steven Spielberg was cinema’s most successful director, and very adept at moving between genres.

1941 was his take on a big budget, all star, action packed comedy – a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World for the late seventies.  Even the poster and tag lines pay homage to the Kramer classic.

It’s a movie that should be seen more often than it is.

And its original cinema advertising posters are great – as fun and action packed as the film itself.
