National Lampoon’s Animal House

1978 was the summer that gave us two of the best ever US high school and college movies.

Grease rightly has its fans.  But for out and out laughs, there’s no contest with National Lampoon’s Animal House.

The late, great John Belushi was on top form as Bluto, but not far behind were the likes of Tom Hulce, Stephen Furst, Tim Matheson, John Vernon and the wonderful Donald Sutherland.

There are too many scenes to single any one out, and this original US Style B One Sheet does a great job of capturing the characters, the spirit of the film, and the fun bursting out of Delta House, even though it was on double secret probation.
