My Fair Lady

Multi-Oscar winning film based on the Lerner and Loewe stage musical which in turn had adapted George Bernard Shaw’s  stage play Pygmalion.  While Rex Harrison and Stanley Holloway reprised the roles they had originated on Broadway, the role of Eliza Dolittle, played by Julie Andrews on stage, went to Audrey Hepburn.

Like most of Audrey Hepburn’s most popular films, this is a title that is always in demand.

This is Lobby Card #1 from the set of 8 produced for the movie’s initial release.  And it’s definitely the best and most memorable of the set – a stunning close up of Hepburn as Eliza.
