A decent combination of latter day war movie and football movie.

Sylvester Stallone was there for the US box office, with Michael Caine and Max Von Sydow adding a touch of acting class, and John Huston directing.

But the film is really all about the football, a different type of England v Germany match, and the involvement of the likes of Bobby Moore and Pele.
