After A Night in Casablanca, Groucho Marx turned to his solo career, in film, radio and television.
His first starring movie without his brothers was the musical comedy Copacabana in 1947, pairing him with the popular Carmen Miranda in a hit and miss affair with Groucho as an agent on the make, and passing his girlfriend off as different acts to different venues.
This is an original vintage US One Sheet poster from the film’s first release, with fun artwork of Groucho, Carmen and co-stars, Steve Cochran, Andy Russell and Gloria Jean, as well as some dancing Copa Girls.
