1967’s Carry On – Don’t Lose Your Head is one of the Carry On team’s best historical romps.

Although the producer, director, writer and cast meant that it was always a “Carry On’, when it was first released its title was simply Don’t Lose Your Head.

With all the regular names in attendance, Sid James has the lovely lead role of the English aristocrat who doubles as the Black Fingernail, battling to save the aristocrats in the French Revolution.

This is the rare original UK (country of origin) poster from the film’s initial release with its non Carry On title.
