Cannonball Run II

Box office smash The Cannonball Run turned 40 in 2021.  It brought together director Hal Needham and Smokey and the Bandit star, Burt Reynolds, Hollywood’s biggest star at the time, with the likes of Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr, Dom DeLuise Farrah Fawcett and Roger Moore (in a Bond spoofing role).

The result was a car race movie, full of stunts, slapstick and broad comedy.  It was so successful, that a sequel was released two years later.  It was more of the same, but also added to the cast not only Telly Savalas and Richard (Jaws) Kiel, but also Shirley MacLaine and Frank Sinatra, making it the last Rat Pack movie.

Like its predecessor, its original movie posters feature cars and great Drew Struzan artwork of all the lead stars.  This is the rarer original US Insert format.
