Breakfast at Tiffany’s

For anyone who still has never seen this Oscar-winning film from 1961, George Peppard plays Paul Varjak, a struggling writer who becomes a neighbour in the same New York apartment building as a certain Holly Golightly (Audrey Hepburn). Inevitably they fall in love but along the way we learn that both have certain secrets they try to keep from the other.

The iconic artwork of the original movie poster, produced by Bob McGinnis, is one of cinema’s most popular and sought after images.  This is an original US movie poster from the film’s first cinema release.  It’s a US Half Sheet, a format that is rarer than the regular One Sheet, and many believe it’s more striking, with its close-up head and shoulders of Audrey as Holly.
