1964’s Carry On Cleo is one of the Carry On team’s funniest historical romps.
Spoofing the big budget Cleopatra with Elizabeth Taylor, this one has lasted well, and is one of the few to have been released on Blu-Ray to date.
With all the regular names in attendance, Cleopatra was played beautifully by a wide-eyed Amanda Barrie.
The original set of 8 US Lobby Cards for the movie’s first US release in 1965 are all bright and fun, and adorned with border art of Amanda Barrie as Cleopatra. This is #8, featuring Kenneth Connor, exposed on the steps of the Senate.
