Goldfinger – Dr No

In the 1960s when James Bond mania was at its peak, it became the custom to release a double bill feature of two earlier films whilst waiting for the release of the next one.  In 1966, the audience had seen Thunderball the previous year, and was waiting for You Only Live Twice next year….

This original lobby card set is from the 1966 Double Bill cinematic re-release of Dr No and Goldfinger and features 4 scenes from each of the 2 films.

This is Card #3, a scene from Dr No with James and Honey Ryder on the beach – probably the best image in the set.
