Woody Allen directed and starred as the eponymous Zelig.

The film, styled as a ‘mockumentary’, was set in the 1920s where Leonard Zelig gained notoriety as a mimic, and became known as the human chameleon, perhaps out of a desire to fit in and be liked.

Mia Farrow co-starred as a psychiatrist who wanted to help Zelig.

Allen made clever use of archive newsreel footage of real-life people to suggest authenticity.

This is an original release US One Sheet cinema poster.
