A British film from 1979, written by Jackie Collins.  It divides its time between music/disco, and the soccer pitch.

Ian McShane is the Georgie Best-ish has been footballer, Suzanne Somers his ex, and Adam Faith and Paul Nicholas are there as well.

This is the original UK (country of origin) Quad poster from the film’s cinema release.  It features nice artwork of the leads, and is one of the few film posters to include football images.
