Where Eagles Dare

A classic WWII adventure movie from 1968, Where Eagles Dare was based on the novel by the best selling author Alistair MacLean, and brought together top British actors, including Richard Burton, with Clint Eastwood (to boost the US box office).

It has lasted really well, which is no doubt one of the reasons why its original cinema promotional materials are so collectable.

The original US Lobby Cards are very popular, featuring some key moments form the film.  This is Card #3 from the set of 8 from the film’s first release, and shows Richard Burton in Nazi disguise, with Hammer icon, Ingrid Pitt, and Mary Ure.
