Laurel and Hardy’s final film was produced under well documented difficult conditions, and used to have a terrible reputation.

But that has risen in recent years, helped by the superior version now released on Blu-Ray and DVD courtesy of the BFI.

It was released in Europe from 1950, but not in the US until 1954, when it came out as Utopia (having been Atoll K elsewhere, and Robinson Crusoeland in the UK).

Original cinema advertising for the title is rare because of its sporadic theatrical releases, and is correspondingly valuable to collectors.

This is original US Lobby Card #4 from the set of 8 produced for that US release.  The images used reflect the European market and co-stars, and this showcases the French chanteuse, Suzy Delair, who also features in the border artwork.
