The Return of the Pink Panther

Blake Edwards returned to his Inspector Clouseau/Pink Panther creation in 1975, more than ten years after A Shot in the Dark.

The Pink Panther movies of the seventies were bigger, louder and more successful than the rather gentler first two films in the series.

Peter Sellers was back as Clouseau, joined by Lom and Kwouk as Dreyfus and Cato, with Christopher Plummer in the David Niven role of Sir Charles Litton, and Catherine Schell as his wife.  Aided and abetted by many famous comedy names.

Original cinema advertising posters for the Pink Panther series are popular with comedy fans and animation fans alike, with the Panther usually appearing prominently.

This is original US Lobby Card #7 from the set produced for the movie’s first release.  They all feature the Pink Panther in the border artwork, and this scene is a nice example of Clouseau created carnage.
