Jerry Lewis directing Jerry Lewis as a bellhop hired to become a comedian when a comedian dies and his writers believe they can turn an unknown into a comedy star.

Hit and miss mid solo career outing from 1964, but worth watching.  And with a great supporting cast, including Peter Lorre in his last role.

This is the original US One Sheet movie poster from the film’s first release.  As ever with Jerry’s movies, the poster is colourful and fun.  Jerry is centre stage, but the supporting cast is also there, pulling his strings.
