The Misfits

An ambitious drama to bring to the screen, written by Arthur Miller and directed by John Huston.

The performances from all the leads were strong, and the fact that it was the last film completed by Marilyn Monroe and Clark Gable adds an extra texture to its starker moments.

It’s generally thought to be one of Marilyn’s finest acting performances, and its original advertising is of course highly collectable.  That applies especially to this US One Sheet, which is predominantly black and white collage, adding to its impact.
