In 1939, Laurel and Hardy made a feature away from Hal Roach for independent producer Boris Morros, returning to Roach the following year for their last two features at that studio.
The result was a nice outing, reminiscent of the short, Beau Hunks, and with familiar faces in the cast.
And Stan dancing a soft shoe shuffle to Ollie’s rendition of Shine On, Harvest Moon.
This is an original US Lobby Card from the film’s initial release, one of the set of 8 produced to accompany the cinema posters. It’s probably the best of the set with a great close up of the duo and their leading lady, Jean Parker.
