The Cat and the Canary

1939’s version of the haunted house horror comedy, The Cat and the Canary, is one of the best examples of the genre.

With Hope and Goddard on top form, a strong supporting cast, and some real chills mixed in with the comedy.

Original cinema advertising materials for this title are very rare and highly collectable.

This is an original US Lobby Card from the movie’s original release.  It’s a nice cast shot and in lovely condition (although someone has (?) helpfully added Nydia Westman’s name in the top border, presumably because she features in the picture even though her name isn’t amongst the credits on the card).
