Some Like It Hot

This is surely the best of the Monroe/Wilder movies, and indeed it’s one which commonly appears at the top of best comedy of all time polls.

It’s a classic Marilyn performance as Sugar Kane, and she’s matched all the way by the humorous yet sympathetic playing of Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon, both in and out of drag.

And although the oft-quoted final line asserts that “Nobody’s perfect”, this film comes pretty close.

This is an original US Insert, one of the rarer formats, with a nice version of the main poster artwork created for the movie’s initial release.
