A domestic comedy from 1960, with a routine plot involving a family moving from the city to the country, but the movie critic husband continuing to work late, and attracting his wife’s suspicions.
But it’s elevated by its cast, with Doris Day and David Niven both on top form, with amusing support, in particular from Spring Byington and Patsy Kelly.
Original cinema advertising materials for Doris Day are always collectable, and this title is no exception. This is Lobby Card #7 from the set of 8 produced for the film’s first release, and is a fun shot of Doris, trying to get dressed up for an evening out.
