Midnight Lace is one of Doris Day’s less well known movies, but that is a shame.
This is a great little suspense thriller, which is much closer in style to her appearance in Hitchcock’s The Man Who Knew Too Much than the series of light romantic comedies for which she is best remembered.
A strong cast includes Rex Harrison, John Gavin and even Myrna Loy and Hermione Baddeley.
What’s more, the original US cinema One Sheet film poster from the movie’s first release in 1960 features a really good design, with the main image of a tense looking Doris Day as well as the “photo booth” style smaller images of other key scenes. And because the film isn’t such a popular title, it is in a more affordable price bracket.
Very good original cinema folded condition poster, with only pin holes and minor corner blemishes as signs of age and wear
