Kramer vs. Kramer

Ted Kramer’s world is turned upside down when his wife (Streep) walks out on him and their young son, Billy (Justin Henry).

Workaholic Ted tries to hold down his high-powered advertising executive job whilst looking after his seven year old son who is struggling to understand why his mother has left.

The film is a real tearjerker in places, but it also explores issues such as work/life balance, fathers’ rights and single parenting.

A critical and commercial success, it won 5 Academy Awards including Best Picture.
