Blade Runner

November 2019, which was at the time nearly forty years in the future, is the setting for this classic sci-fi movie.

Directed by Ridley Scott, its lead is Harrison Ford as Deckard, the blade runner of the title, brought out of human retirement to “retire” the replicants who have illegally made their way back to Earth.  But it’s really Rutger Hauer’s film, as the replicant with an apparent soul, Roy Batty.
