The second of the four (to date) film versions of the story of an actor/singer on the way down helping an aspiring actress/singer, whose career goes on to exceed his.

Lady Gaga was the latest, and Janet Gaynor was the first, but for many, Judy Garland was the best.

Co-starring with James Mason, this was definitely Garland’s film.

Original cinema posters and other advertising materials for this version are always collectable, and are becoming harder to find.

The US Half Sheet is particularly rare and this one is in amazing condition: never folded,  the colours are still really vibrant and it even retains the original snipe-issued snipe.
