Downhill Racer

Downhill Racer from 1969 is one of the relatively few films to have skiing as its central core.

An exciting drama with Robert Redford facing off against Gene Hackman, with Camilla Sparv in the mix as well.

Original cinema advertising posters for the movie are very collectable due to the combination of skiing imagery with really attractive artwork by Steve Frankfurt.

The main US One Sheet poster came in two completely different designs by Frankfurt.  This is an original Style A poster from the movie’s initial release.
