Guys and Dolls

1955’s musical has Brando and Sinatra, the former on the way up and apparently irritating the latter on set.  It also has Simmons and Blane, a great soundtrack, and probably the best filmed version of a Damon Runyon story.

This is an original US Window Card movie poster from the film’s initial release – a rarer format, usually displayed in store windows and featuring – as here, the name and dates of the local cinema where it was playing.  Some people like this authentic touch, and those who don’t cover the upper portion with a mount when framing.
