The Big Noise

Once said to be Laurel and Hardy’s worst feature, the popular consensus isn’t that it isn’t at all bad, especially when judged against their other 1940s features, and indeed other Fox comedies of the War years.
Stan and Ollie as janitors posing as detectives, guarding an important bomb invention, and finally sinking a Japanese submarine.
Original cinema advertising posters and other display items are very collectable for all L and H titles, and even their later titles featured great poster art and lively and colourful scenes in their Lobby Cards.
This is an original US Lobby Card from the set of 8 produced to publicise the movie’s first release, and is a great shot of the Boys in trouble from a knife-wielding sleepwalker.

Nice complete card, but with slight darkening and signs of age and wear, including tape stains in top and bottom border centres, and some surface scuffing around Hardy's face (which looks worse in this photo than it does in real life)
