1977’s The Deep was the eagerly awaited film adaptation of Peter Benchley’s follow up novel to Jaws.
Inevitably, the movie didn’t approach the success of Jaws and isn’t well remembered. But it did have its moments of suspense and interest, with great underwater photography, and a nice cast headed by Nick Nolte and Jacqueline Bisset, and with a scene stealing Robert Shaw.
This is the original UK Quad cinema movie poster – the Advance/Teaser that was outside the cinemas to attract interest for this film under the Future Attractions.
