Return of the Jedi – or to give it what is now its proper title – Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi was the third film in the franchise. Released six years after A New Hope the series had lost none of its appeal and the massive and loyal fan base was eager for a new instalment. It was a commercial success and became the highest grossing film of 1983.
This is an original UK Quad poster produced during the film’s initial cinema run, featuring the great Josh Kirby artwork. He produced two versions – this one has a little less action (but does have an ewok).
