Send Me No Flowers was the last teaming of Doris Day and Rock Hudson, ably supported by Tony Randall, and is another light comedy based around the American home. Doris is the housewife who misunderstands what she overhears Rock, as her hypochondriac husband, telling his best friend, Tony. And Rock has himself misunderstood something pretty important.
Vintage film posters featuring Doris Day are very popular, and for many people, their favourite is one of the early 60s comedies she made with either Rock Hudson or James Garner.
This is Lobby Card #6 from the set of 8 produced for foyer display on the film’s first release, which all featured a small version of portraits of the three leads from the main posters as part of the border artwork, as well as scenes from the film. Rock is featured in this card.
