Raging Bull

One of Scorsese’s finest films, and one of the best boxing movies of all time.

Robert De Niro famously transformed himself from someone able to realistically portray Jake La Motta in the ring, to the older, much heavier version of La Motta later in life.

The movie was shot in black and white, which added to its sense of period realism,  Its advertising posters were likewise devoid of colour other than blood red titles, and are probably the most sought after of any of Scorsese’s films other than Taxi Driver.
