Nice crime drama/thriller/noir from 1949 starring George Raft. He’s the Johnny Allegro of the title – an escaped convict now living under an alias and working as a hotel florist. Until a blonde femme fatale and then the Treasury Department complicate his life.
Columbia usually made above average B movies, with decent production values.
And produced superior poster artwork for their cinema advertising.
This is no exception – it’s an original US Half Sheet, with a great portrait of Raft as well as action from the film.

Good original condition, lightly folded as issued. Plenty of signs of age and wear, including creases, closed border tears, a couple of closed tears in lower image, smudges and pinholes. But it is complete and still displays really nicely
