My Little Chickadee

in 1940, Universal paired two of their biggest stars in this comedy Western.

The styles of W C Fields (as Cuthbert J Twillie) and Mae West (as Flower Belle Lee) didn’t completely gel, but the result was still a lot of fun.

Original movie posters and lobby cards for both these comedy icons are always very collectable, Fields in particular.

This is an original US Lobby Card from the set of 8 produced for the film’s initial release.  This is a nice one, featuring Fields and a masked bandit (who may or may not be Ms West).
