In all the excitement of doing nothing in lockdown, we failed to mention that it would have been Katharine Hepburn’s birthday on 12th May.

One of Hollywood’s true greats, and a real mould breaker in many ways.

Her career was long and broad, spanning the thirties to the nineties, so it is perhaps a case of too many to mention.

But we must just refer to our favourites, the screwball comedy of Bringing Up Baby, the romantic comedy of The Philadelphia Story, and the series of pairings with Spencer Tracy.
