To Have and Have Not

Classic wartime drama based on Hemingway, and directed by Hawks with hmour as well as drama and romance.

Maybe best remembered as the movie on whose set Bogart met Bacall (making her film debut).

The film was a great success on its first release, and was re-released into cinema again just 11 years later.

This is original Lobby Card #6 from the set of 8 produced for that 1956 re-release.  It’s in understated sepia tones, and fetaures a great shot of those two stars, plus the tagline “If you want anything Mister,….. just whistle!”.
