Tintin and the Temple of the Sun
Herge’s Tintin appeared in a 1969 animated film, originally released as Seven Crystal Balls and the Prisoners of the Sun, its title taken from the two books on which it was based.
This is an original Argentinian One Sheet cinema poster from the film’s first release, with nice illustrations of Tintin, Snowy, Captain Haddock, Professor Calculus and Thompson and Thomson. It has been conservation linen backed, but its top and side white borders had been cut off and the bottom border trimmed. You probably wouldn’t notice this when the poster is displayed and it’s a rare piece, but it does have that flaw.
Conservation linen backed, but with trimmed borders, so that it measures 26 3/4" x 42" instead of 29" x 43".
