The Leopard

Luchino Visconti’s epic historical drama about an aristocratic family set in mid-19th century Sicily.

Starring Burt Lancaster as Prince Don Fabrizio Salina, the head of the family, Alain Delon as his nephew, Tancredi and Claudia Cardinale as Angelica to whom Tancredi becomes engaged.

The film is over three hours long, but it’s beautifully shot and the costumes are gorgeous.

The lobby cards are nicely designed and combine a sketch of Lancaster from the poster campaign and a scene from the film.
