Marilyn Monroe had what was billed as her debut in a real dramatic part in 1953’s Niagara.

The setting at the Falls made for a suitably tense little thriller, and Marilyn was good in her role.

This is US Lobby Card #6, with the grieving widow visiting the morgue

This is also the movie for which photo-journalist Jock Carroll was tasked with accompanying Marilyn for a week, resulting in some wonderful candid photography.  We offer our own Marilyn at Niagara limited edition photographs comprising the best of Carroll’s work.
