A great example of the movies made by Howard Hughes when he owned RKO.
A story of patriotism, aircraft, and Cold War concerns.
The film took so long to be edited and released as a result of Hughes’ involvement, that by the time of its release, the jet technology that he was so keen to showcase was already pretty much obsolete.
The poster artwork for the movie’s initial release was also carefully supervised, and possibly actually designed, by Hughes.
This is an original US Insert from that release, and has great imagery of Leigh, Wayne and the aircraft.
Good original condition. Nver folded but with a few signs of age and wear - minor card loss to two top corners, repaired tears midway down right hand side, corner pinholes and a few unobtrusive dots of what looks to be silver paint
