Jet Pilot

A great example of the movies made by Howard Hughes when he owned RKO.

A story of patriotism, aircraft, and Cold War concerns.

The film took so long to be edited and released as a result of Hughes’ involvement, that by the time of its release, the jet technology that he was so keen to showcase was already pretty much obsolete.

The poster artwork for the movie’s initial release was also carefully supervised, and possibly actually designed, by Hughes.

This is an original US Lobby Card from that release, #1 from the set of 8, and has great imagery of Leigh, Wayne and the aircraft in its border art.
