Jaws 2
£125.00
Jaws was one of the first of the big blockbuster movies that hit the cinema screens in the 1970s. It was also one of the first to spawn a series of successors, usually becoming less successful as the franchise extended.
Jaws 2 was released 3 years later, in 1978, and had a cast led again by Roy Scheider as Chief Brody, with Lorraine Gary as his wife and Murray Hamilton as the Mayor, more interested in commercial prosperity than health and safety.
Its main poster was a variation of the original Jaws image, and a further variant of that was used as the border art in the set of Lobby Cards produced for the film’s first release. This is one of those original Lobby Cards. It also boasts one of the all-time great taglines.
Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water.
