Massively popular film version of the musical based on the work of Christopher Isherwood.
For most people, this is Liza Minnelli’s greatest role, as club singer Sally Bowles in 1930’s Berlin. She won one of the 8 Oscars the movie picked up, with others going to Joel Grey and director, Bob Fosse.
It’s now almost fifty years old, but as a period piece, hasn’t really aged, and as a result, original cinema advertising materials from the film’s first release are always collectable.
This is original Lobby Card #3 from the set of 8 that accompanied the film in 1972, a nice cafe scene with Michael York and Marisa Berenson, and with the main poster/Sally Bowles artwork featuring in the border.
