We were saddened to hear this week of the death of Charlie Watts.
With the Rolling Stones since the band began, he was not only the musical backbone, but also the calming personal influence in the middle.
Unlike some of his band-mates, he didn’t try his hand at acting. But he can be seen on the drums in the cinematic releases of live footage, such as Gimme Shelter, Ladies and Gentlemen and Let’s Spend the Night together.
We’re also pleased to be able to offer exclusively a limited edition set of colour shots of Charlie and the rest of the group from the early 1960s.
RIP Charlie
