The Lady From Shanghai
Orson Welles was one of Hollywood’s greatest film-makers.
The Lady From Shanghai, released in 1947, only 7 years after Citizen Kane, is one of his early classics, even if he (as was almost always the case) wasn’t happy with it, or what the studio did with it.
Original movie posters for the title are very collectable as a result of the film’s enduring popularity, and the involvement of Rita Hayworth.
This is the original Lobby Card #2 from the set of 8 produced for the film’s first release, and features a great scene with the man himself.
