Set in Harlem and with Richard Roundtree as John Shaft, it worked at every level – as well as having the Oscar winning theme song from Isaac Hayes.
This is original US Lobby Card #5 from the set of 8 produced for the movie’s first release. Roundtree as Shaft on the streets of New York.
