Once Upon a Time in America
Sergio Leone’s classic tale of an aging Prohibition era gangster returning to the New York of his youth.
Powerful cinema in every respect.
It was twenty years after Leone’s spaghetti westerns with Clint Eastwood, but once again the sense of foreboding is conveyed throughout with the help of another haunting Morricone score.
This is a great conservation linen backed example of the original US cinema One Sheet poster from the movie’s first release, with then and now shots of the four main cast, but dominated by a sepia tinted Brooklyn Bridge.
