Jacques Tati’s second feature length film is surely his masterpiece.  Released in 1953, it is still regularly re-issued to the delight of new generations.  For the English speaking territories, it’s Monsieur Hulot’s Holiday.

One of the funniest films ever made, without dialogue (but with a lovely soundtrack and sound effects), pure pantomime as the accident prone Monsieur Hulot takes his annual seaside vacation.

This is a highly collectable original country of origin French poster for the first (1958) cinematic re-release, featuring the classic Hulot image created by Pierre Etaix, and wonderfully conservation linen backed.
